I took my first photo at age eight and was lucky enough to make photography my career.  I painted my first painting on canvas in Art School and have never stopped.  All of my paintings are on recycled canvases.

I studied at Hartford School of Art, University of Hartford  and then graduated fromTyler School of Art, Temple University.

I have worked in the Television and Film Industry my entire adult life.    I worked as a cameraman on Live Sports broadcasts in Philadelphia as well as many years with the hit TV show “Trading Spaces”.

I came to live on Maui over 20 years ago as Director of Photography for “Paradise Television” Ch.7 the Visitor Channel.

I picked up surfing when I gave up drinking over 25 years ago.   Best addiction switch ever.  Surfing saved my life. The healing quality and beauty of the ocean is a pivotal part of my work.  I love both the organic nature of painting and the precision of photography.  There are no straight lines in nature and in life.
